D.A.V. Palampur Hosts Workshop on Cyber Safety and Security Under the Leadership of Dr. V. K. Yadav

A one-day workshop on “Cyber Safety and Security” was successfully organized at D.A.V. Public School, Palampur, under the Holistic Development Programme (HDP) of CBSE.

The workshop was held under the insightful guidance of Principal Dr. V. K. Yadav and conducted by CBSE-appointed resource persons Mr. Avnish Sharma and Mr. Jagni Sharma. Through interactive sessions, demonstrations, and practical examples, the experts enlightened teachers about critical aspects of online safety — including password protection, phishing awareness, data privacy, and responsible use of social media.

The primary goal of the session was to sensitize teachers about safe digital practices and empower them to guide students towards becoming responsible digital citizens. Discussions also covered modern cyber threats and methods to safeguard personal and institutional data in the education sector.

Principal Dr. V. K. Yadav welcomed the resource persons with heartfelt gratitude and commended the teachers for their active engagement. He emphasized that in the era of digital education, cyber awareness is not optional but essential. He urged teachers to spread this knowledge within classrooms to ensure every child learns to navigate the online world safely and wisely.
