Dehra’s Pushpendra Sharma Appointed Special Invitee to HPMC Board, Boost for Kangra’s Horticulture Sector

Shimla: In a significant recognition of grassroots leadership from Dehra, Pushpendra Sharma of VPO Behin, Tehsil Dehra (District Kangra) has been appointed as a Special Invitee to the Board of Directors of Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation (HPMC).

The appointment, notified by the Government of Himachal Pradesh’s Department of Horticulture, is being seen as a major boost for Kangra district’s horticulture development and farmer welfare initiatives.

Pushpendra Sharma’s inclusion in the HPMC board reflects the state government’s intent to strengthen regional representation, promote local horticulture interests, and ensure that farmers’ voices from Dehra and surrounding areas are effectively heard in policy and marketing decisions.
