Scoring a whopping 99.43%, Saina Thakur of Neugal Model School Bhawarna, Palampur, has emerged as the state topper in the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) Class 10 examinations. The results were declared on Thursday afternoon, marking a moment of pride not only for Saina and her family but also for the entire Kangra district. ![]()
With a clear vision for her future, Saina aspires to become a Chartered Accountant (CA). Speaking to local media, she shared that her interest in finance and numbers has always driven her, and she is now determined to pursue her goal with the same dedication that brought her this remarkable academic achievement.
Saina credited her success to consistent hard work, support from her teachers, and an encouraging environment at home. “Discipline and regular revision were key,” she said, adding that she avoided distractions and focused on understanding concepts rather than rote learning.
Her school principal lauded her for her determination and humility, describing her as a role model for other students. “Saina’s achievement reflects the values of hard work, focus, and ambition that we try to instill in all our students,” the principal said.
With the first milestone toward her career dream achieved, Saina is now preparing to opt for the commerce stream in Class 11, the first step on her path to becoming a CA and explore the field of Artificial Intelligence. ![]()
