Shimla, May 20, 2024 — A comprehensive review meeting of the Project Wing functionaries of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) was convened today at Hotel Peterhof, Shimla.

The meeting, chaired by Dr. Rajeev Kumar, IAS, Managing Director of HPTDC, focused on evaluating the progress of ongoing projects assigned to Assistant Engineers, SDOs, and Junior Engineers (Electrical & Civil), as well as other project wing officials.

During the session, Dr. Kumar meticulously examined the status of the work completed by each functionary.
The purpose was to ensure that all projects are on track and to identify any bottlenecks that might be hindering progress.
The meeting highlighted the necessity for increased efficiency and timely completion of projects to boost the state’s tourism infrastructure.

A significant outcome of the meeting was the directive issued by Dr. Kumar to all project wing members to actively seek deposit works from various government departments.

This strategic move aims to diversify the project portfolio of HPTDC, thereby enhancing its commercial viability and broadening its operational scope.
