Rotary Dharamshala Spreads Smiles Through Pulse Polio Service Mission
Rotary Club Dharamshala today actively participated in the Pulse Polio Immunisation Campaign, reaffirming its commitment to public service and child health. The club also had the honour of felicitating the Worthy ADM Kangra for his unwavering support to community welfare initiatives.
To bring smiles to the children arriving for vaccination, the club distributed toys, sweets, biscuits and juices, turning the immunisation booths into cheerful, welcoming spaces.
After the inaugural ceremony, Rotary members visited the Passu Booth, where they served juices to the children and staff. In recognition of the hard work of frontline health workers, packed lunch was also arranged and served to all duty staff across the polio booths.
A special note of gratitude was expressed by Secretary & Past President Rtn. Ajay Sharma, who played an exemplary role in organising and coordinating the entire service project. His dedication, leadership and heartfelt commitment to Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self” were widely appreciated.
Rtn. Ajay Sharma warmly thanked CMO Kangra and Dr. Mahima Kaul (PO) for entrusting Rotary Club Dharamshala with this meaningful opportunity to serve the community.
He also extended sincere appreciation to all members who contributed their time and efforts to ensure the success of the campaign.
