Rotary Club Dharamshala Organises Nation Builder Award Function 2025

Dharamshala, September 18: Rotary Club Dharamshala today organised the Nation Builder Award Function 2025 under its Literacy Mission initiative. A total of nine teachers were honoured with the prestigious Nation Builder Award for their remarkable and exceptional contributions in the field of education.
The awardees included:

6. Mrs. Reena Rani, Lecturer, GSSS Boys Dharamshala

7. Sh. Anish Pradhan, Lecturer, GSSS Dar

9. Mrs. Monika Sharma, TGT, GHS Sidhwari

Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Chairman, HP Board of School Education, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was warmly welcomed by Rtn. Mrs. Nandini Thapa, President, Rotary Club Dharamshala. Rtn. Dr. Vijay Sharma, Project Chair of the event, read out the profiles and achievements of the awardees, while Rtn. Y.K. Dogra introduced the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh Sharma congratulated the award-winning teachers and appreciated their exceptional service to society. He urged students to uphold moral values and highlighted the crucial role of teachers in nation-building, adding that while all teachers contribute, the honoured awardees have demonstrated extraordinary dedication and excellence in their fields.
Rtn. Dr. N.N. Sharma also spoke on the importance of literacy and the vital role teachers play in shaping the future of the nation.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Rtn. Aruna Prashar, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest for sparing his valuable time. She also acknowledged the contributions of School Principal Sh. Y.P. Mankotia, staff members, Rotarians, and students in making the event a grand success.
